Day In Juneau.

The Ms. Zuiderdam is ported in Juneau today! We performed Stage and Screen last night, don't know what it is but for some reason the ship likes to rock every Stage and Screen night. GAAHHH! It starts getting rough towards the end of the first show... then we should just forget about the second show, we are all over the place! After the show Jamie (our cruise director) invited us all out to Northern Lights for drinks and fun. played good music this time so it was fun times friends! after we hit up the OB of course.... and we can't forget the 2 AM bakery run!!! fresh cinnamon rolls and cookies YUM!!!! oh and all of this action is happening in my formal dress with my new slipper booties :) today I am enjoying the day with my cast. Getting some chinese from Zen, then headed to the post office to mail my fathers day present... OOPS...sorry daddy its a bit late! then we off to the amazing Fred Meyer to get some necessities. Its a late night in Juneau... but I still won't be on land to see it get dark haha so crazzyy! Its still light outside at 11 p.m. what is this life! tomorrow we have a long day in Skagway. get into port around 7 AM and we don't leave till about 9 PM, thats our longest day in port, and probably the most boring port! haha except the scenery is brilliant, can't wait to hike tomorrow! Tomorrow night we perform In Concert, yipppeee!

I'M ON A BOAT

Lots of changes have happened in the past two months... went from being jobless with no money and no plans... to getting a job, getting my butt whipped for a month and now living on a ship for 8 months! haha this life is crazy out here and I'm loving every second of it! now on my fourth cruise of my contract.... feels like I've already been out here a year though! weeiiirrdd! all of shows have been going great.. well... except when the sea decides not to cooperate! had a few realllllyyy rocky nights. last week Lisa and I were the sicky's... laying on the floor in between shows.. they almost cancelled our second because it was so bad.. but we made it through! My cast is amazing! such a brilliant group of people to be working with, I'm so blessed! sad day though- one of our male dancers injured his knee so we will be saying goodbye to him for six weeks hoping his knee heals and he can return to us! LOVE YOU PHILLIP!! as of right now we are ported in Skagway, Alaska. Reallllllllly small town but beautifuullll!! can't wait to start hiking! one thing that sucks though is there is no internet in skagway... ridiculous eh? I was upset when I found that out today... also... Loosh and I ordered green tea lattes from the starbucks... ewww we paid $6 each! insaannee right? haha I was shocked! anyways.. I'm so excited for this contract! I love experiencing new things, and I feel like I experience new things everyday out here! loooveee iittt!
